Substance Abuse

Dual Diagnostic Substance Abuse Outpatient Treatment

Advene Health Group Dual diagnosis treatment or recovery blends the most successful aspects of mental health care and substance abuse treatment. Addicted individual’s often struggle with disorders that include depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety or personality disorders without their knowledge. Over time, the lack of treatment for one condition can intensify the other. Mental health disorders often have symptoms that are unpleasant and addicts utilize drugs and alcohol to self-medicate the disorder. The use of illicit substance can often provide temporary relief from psychological symptoms. However, this will amplify the mental health issue in the long run usually causing an individual’s addiction to evolve at an increased rate. To accurately diagnose and treat a dual diagnosis patient, substance abuse must be eliminated for a period of time. This allows true psychological symptoms to surface and be treated quickly and accordingly.

CAN YOU RELATE?

Are these feelings going through your mind: denial, anger, loneliness, helplessness, frustration, rejection, failure, guilt, shame, fear, blame, etc? Can your family, friends and the ones around you all be wrong? Are you ready to get your life back? We realize that you didn’t intend to end up this way. Addiction is a chronic disease if left untreated, although with a willingness to change you can break from this destructive pattern of behavior.

Don’t worry that you feel that you just can’t do it. Recovery is all about trying and learning from your past/present mistakes. Failure is failing to recognize what you’re doing to yourself, your family and society. Failing to take control of your situation to make a better change in how you live your life.

We care! We have what it takes to bring you back as long as you really(truly) want it, it can really happen. You made your mind up, this is for real.

It’s your decision. You set the course and Advene Health Group will direct you to the right path to solidify your recovery. You need to listen, observe and take direction. We will guide you to make the best decisions for your recovery, while improving the current circumstances or hurdles in your life.
